Q Do I have to order online or is there another option?

A You may fax your order to Paper Affair by simply printing your Invoice page, the last page in Checkout before you submit your order online, and faxing it to 770-777-9221. And if you would like to order by phone, please call one of our customer service representatives at 770-777-9888 or toll free, 888-494-9888.

Q How quickly can I get something printed?

A Paper Affair proofs are guaranteed within 24 business hours of placing your order. After approval, Paper Affair orders are shipped within 2-3 days. 3rd Party Vendor schedules vary. See Production Time » for details.

Q What is included in the price of the imprintables you display on this site?

A Unless otherwise noted, all cards include a blank envelope. Both are included in the unprinted price quoted. They are sold in sets of different quantities. See the item’s Product Detail Page for more information.

Q Is there a minimum quantity of invitations I have to order?

A Our invitations come in sets, usually of 8, 10 or 12. You may order as few as 1 set of an item, unprinted or printed but we cannot break down a set and sell the pieces individually. If you submit an order for printed items but wish to leave a portion of the ordered items blank, please contact us and we’ll process your wishes. More than likely, the pricing will not differ, but we will certainly check on that for you. An item’s product detail page will reveal the quantity of an item’s set.

Q Will I see a proof of my order before printing? Do I have to? How do I view the proof?

A To avoid costly mistakes, we require that you review and approve a proof of any Paper Affair printed item, which we produce free of charge. We strongly encourage you to request a proof for items printed by our 3rd party vendors. Proofs may be viewed online and may be accessed via My Account on this site.

Q Can I order my birth announcements before my baby is born?

A Yes, it’s quite a common practice. As you proceed through the order wizard, you will see the question, “Is this a pending announcement?” Select YES. Submit your order with as much information as you can supply ahead of time along with all your font and ink color, etc. selections as requested. The order will be flagged as a birth announcement, will go through the system as usual for proofing and approval but will then go into a holding pattern until you contact us after the baby is born. We will then, insert the correct information into your announcement, give you the option to view another proof and finally, will print and ship your announcement. It’s a wonderful option for parents anticipating a busy life after baby arrives!

Q Can I receive my envelopes ahead of the printing of my birth announcement?

A We are happy to oblige. Again, as you proceed through the order wizard, select YES for “Is this a birth announcement?” and then YES for “Ship my envelopes ahead of the announcement.” There is no additional fee for this if the envelopes are unprinted or are printed in black ink. If they are printed in any color other than black, fees in addition to the regular printing fees will be incurred.

Q Can you assemble my invitations for me?

A Yes! We will be more than happy to assemble your invitations, announcement, etc. for a minimal assembly fee. The fee varies depending on the item. If a price is not quoted within the order process, please contact us for a quote.

Q How do I check the status of my order?

A You may track the status of your order by logging into My Account and following the on screen instructions.

Q Can you address my envelopes?

A We have a list several independent professionals whom we will happily refer you to for calligraphy services. Please take note, these are only referrals. While we have seen the work of the persons we refer you to, we cannot be held responsible for the work they produce or the time frame in which they produce it. We do not act as their “middle-man”. You will deal with them directly. Please contact us for a referral.

Q I didn’t order enough invitations, can I get more?

A It is best to let us know of your increase before your order has gone into production. Once the order is printed, you order must be processed again to get more. There are no shortcuts available to print more invitations, so unfortunately, full printing fees must be incurred for the new order. Obviously, it is very costly to print more invitations, so always order extra!!!

Q Do you offer discounts for large quantity ordering?

A Our specialized services and the associated prices are geared towards short runs, a fast turnaround and custom designs. But we also consider large volume discounts. Typically these discounts start at quantities over 1,000. Please inquire for a large quantity price quote.

Q Is it possible to get a press proof » Glossary ?

A For very large, intricate orders, we can certainly understand the need to see the finished product before the full order is processed. In that circumstance, we can certainly produce a press proof? » Glossary for you to view. However, as there is no short cut in our production of this proof, full order press fees will most likely be incurred. Please discuss your needs for this inclusive service with a representative.
